My Training Philosophy
My training philosophy is...
- Positive reinforcement: The initiation of something, which increases the frequency of the behavior it immediately follows.
- My goal is to make dog training fun for the dog!
- I approach dog training from a learning perspective, focusing on the underlying motivation for a dog's behavior. When the motivation is changed, behavior will change.
- I will show you how to make good behavior rewarding for the dog (and therefore more likely) and unwanted behavior non-rewarding for the dog (making it less likely).
There are no kennels or runs.
Once you experience professional dog training, you will wonder why you waited until now.
I look forward to working with you and your dog.
